The SMARTBRIX team introduces itself
Voices of our team
Our CEO
Nina
I started my professional career with a degree in International Business and Management, during which I completed a year abroad in France. I then started in internal sales at an American company and after a short time moved to field sales. After that, I worked as an area manager for a French group, helping to set up a German company location. In May 2023, I started as a project manager in the OBS Group and was responsible for the implementation of Odoo in companies in various industries. Now I have been CEO of SMARTBRIX since May 2024.
I am fascinated by the following aspects, among others: the economic importance of the real estate industry, the market dynamics and the associated opportunity for technological innovations - such as SMARTBRIX 😉 - to continuously optimize business processes.
I am particularly enthusiastic about the diversity of our customers and our projects. I therefore particularly enjoy working together with our customers. Every day is different, there are always new challenges to solve and requirements to implement. I therefore primarily enjoy - together with my team - driving SMARTBRIX forward as a unique technology solution in the dynamic market.
IT-Consultant
Tobias
I accompany the customer from the first software demo through requirements analysis and feasibility studies to implementation and support during ongoing operations.
If something needs to be optimized, I coordinate the implementation with our development teams.
As the customers are very different, it is difficult to say. However, it was exciting to adapt the administration for Italy. This gave me an interesting insight into the differences and parallels to a German administration.
As I manage houses myself, it is of course a win-win situation if I can design my own software. The flexible working hours and home office are also big plus points. I always enjoy coming to Biggeschlösschen because of the great team 🙂
Marketing Managerin
Ida
During my studies in media science and media management, a good friend who also works at the OBS Group drew my attention to the job offer in marketing at SMARTBRIX. After completing my studies, I started working full-time for the OBS Group, but continued to take on the marketing for SMARTBRIX.
I usually start my day by checking my emails. Then I start creating content: copywriting, image editing and updating website content are part of my daily tasks. As most days are different, I then take care of whatever comes up - for example, planning trade fairs, creating print products or texts for various platforms.
I particularly enjoy creating print products and copywriting. In general, I really like the fact that my tasks are so varied and that I can express myself creatively in a wide range of areas.

Varied, exciting, modern
The real estate industry is particularly exciting for me due to the advancing digitalisation, as there are many new automation paths here and you can work on the latest developments. Project development and the management of sometimes very large property portfolios are also exciting areas.
The job in consulting at SMARTBRIX is exceptionally varied. The contact with a wide variety of customers from the fields of property management, development and marketing is a lot of fun, as each project is individual in its own way. Due to the different project requirements, every task is different and leaves no room for dull working days.

Even as a child, I found the property sector very interesting. Back then, I watched the VOX programme ‘Mieten.Kaufen.Wohnen.’ and firmly convinced myself: ‘When I grow up, I want to be a property agent too’.
When I was 20, I planned my own TinyHouse and had it built shortly afterwards. I lived in it for 3 years. This time had a huge impact on me and I learnt a lot about alternative forms of housing, housing shortages, building regulations and also about myself.
Before my job at SMARTBRIX, I worked in a property management company and gained in-depth insights into the management of rental properties and condominiums. I also advertised flats myself, conducted viewings and handled new lettings.
My biggest learning so far has been that property management can (and must) be digitalised, because a property manager manages many other companies in addition to their own.
SMARTBRIX has an open error culture. That really impresses me. After all, you can only grow and improve if mistakes are recognised and communicated constructively!
At SMARTBRIX, you never stop learning. Compared to other jobs, SMARTBRIX is very progressive thanks to its flat hierarchies, equal opportunities, inclusion and thirst for knowledge and keeps up with the ‘ever-changing times’.
